Welcome

Peg's Peak Sign

Established in 1991, Peg's Peak is the perfect little getaway in the wondrous and beautiful state of West Virginia.

"Awesome place to relax. Had a great time."

- P. Allen and S. Brucker

Everyone needs a vacation! At Peg's Peak, you are nestled in the serenity of West Virginia's wilderness. There is no traffic, no crowds, but still plenty of activities for you to enjoy.

Peg's Peak is located in Southern West Virginia only 1¼ miles from the Greenbrier River in Summers County. Mountains surround this hillside getaway in a quiet hollow off a gravel road with no through traffic. Historic Hinton is only 10½ miles away.

"Peggy, we loved it here. So peaceful and beautiful. We plan to come back..."

- The Dickinsons

There are many things to do close by: hiking, fishing, golfing, spelunking, whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, horse back riding, mini-golfing, and other outdoor activities. There are two state parks to visit as well as various historical sites. The Greenbrier, Little Bluestone, and New Rivers, along with Bluestone Lake, offer many water activities including boat rentals at the marina. The Bluestone Wildlife Management Area has land open to the public for those interested in hunting. If you enjoy winter sports, Winterplace Ski Resort isn't far either.

And of course, there's also the chance to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery...
